What is Counselling/

Psychotherapy?

Counselling is a form of therapy that aims to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in a safe and confidential space. It provides a non-judgemental environment where clients can work through their problems and challenges with the help of a trained professional. I am not here to fix you – I am here to listen, with empathy and offer fresh perspectives so you can achieve greater self-awareness. I use various techniques and approaches to help you gain insight into your issues, manage your emotions better, and develop coping strategies to deal with your problems.

Counselling can be beneficial for anyone, regardless of your age, gender, or background, and it can help you improve their mental health, enhance their relationships, and achieve personal growth.

Mobile Counselling

Mobile counselling is a convenient and comfortable option for those who prefer to receive counselling in the comfort of their own home. I offer a mobile counselling service, which means that we can come to you, wherever you are. Whether you have mobility issues, find it difficult to leave your home, or simply prefer the convenience of having a counsellor come to you, I am here to support you. I understand that opening up about your problems can be challenging, and I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment that puts you at ease.

Online Counselling

Online counselling is a flexible and convenient option for those who prefer to receive counselling from the comfort of their own home or wherever they may be. It differs from traditional face-to-face counselling as it takes place on Zoom or another video platform. Online counselling can be beneficial if you have a busy schedule, live in a remote area, or have mobility issues. It also provides greater anonymity, which you may prefer if you feel uncomfortable or self-conscious about attending in-person sessions.

Telephone Counselling

Telephone counselling is a popular and convenient option for those who prefer to receive counselling over the phone. It offers a level of anonymity and flexibility that traditional face-to-face counselling may not, making it a popular choice for individuals who have busy schedules, live in remote areas, or have mobility issues. Additionally, it may be a more comfortable option for those who feel uncomfortable or self-conscious about attending in-person sessions. Telephone counselling is just as effective as face-to-face counselling, and our experienced counsellors are here to provide a supportive and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings, and work towards achieving your personal goals. So, whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, or other challenges, our telephone counselling service is here to support you.

Andrew was really good, i have never had a male counsellor, so it felt nice to be able to have this option. I felt we got on really well and he listened so well, Andrew has been amazing.

Katie

Andrew was amazing. He understood me. It was an eye opener for me, so much came up that i didn’t know would and i felt safe with Andrew. I didn't before but now i can 100% rate counselling. Thank you Andrew.

Paul

Dear Andrew. I just wanted to say thank you for all the support you have given me throughout my counselling sessions. At the time I wasn’t sure what it would be like doing them remotely, but realised very quickly that it was just like going to a face to face session each week. I have learned so much about myself and how i can help myself in difficult situations. Thank you so much for everything, i found it really helpful, and feel like i can finally move forward with my life goals. Andrew was very easy to talk to and good with taking things at my own pace. Thank you so much again.
